“Best mac and cheese in Atlanta, hands down. The kind your grandma used to make — creamy, baked just right, with that golden crust on top. This place is a gift to this city.”
Slow-cooked. Scratch-made. Served with heart.

“Came in for a birthday dinner and left feeling like family. The smothered pork chops were unbelievable — fall-off-the-bone tender. The staff remembered my name on my second visit.”

“Been going here for two years. The biscuits alone are worth the drive. Buttery, flaky, served warm every time. But honestly everything on the menu is incredible.”

“Date night perfection. The lighting is warm and romantic, the food is incredible, and the staff makes you feel special. The peach cobbler is a must — we fight over the last bite every time.”

“My first time here and definitely not my last. The fried catfish was perfectly seasoned with just the right crunch. Sweet tea is the real deal — unsweetened imposters need not apply.”
The Ember Table was born from a simple belief: that the best meals are the ones your grandmother made — slow, intentional, and cooked from scratch. We opened our doors in 2016 with a wood-fired hearth, a cast iron skillet, and recipes built around what Georgia farmers grow best.
Chef Marcus Webb spent a decade cooking in New York and Charleston before bringing his wood-fire philosophy home to Atlanta. Every dish that comes out of our kitchen starts with a live fire and ingredients sourced within 150 miles.
Whether you're celebrating a milestone or just need a meal that feels like home, we'll have a warm table and a hot plate waiting for you.
